‘Used equipment provides Smurfit Kappa with a competitive waste extraction solution’

KEE Environmental Limited have recently installed a turn-key waste extraction system for Smurfit Kappa’s Leeds factory.

In order to ensure the system was as competitive as possible, KEE included a number of items from their extensive stock of used equipment.

The chopping fans, waste separator and waste spec. rotary valve were all supplied as used items.

They were all fully refurbished and re-painted before delivery.

The waste conveying ductwork, electrical control panel and site wiring were all new items.

This allowed Smurfit Kappa to purchase a bespoke system to meet the needs of their Leeds converting plant within their budget.

The system was installed and commissioned over a two week period without disruption to Smurfit Kappa’s production.
