Slumberdown Ltd (Reffond UK) recently selected KEE Environmental Ltd to design and install a new textile trim extraction system to serve their pillo
w and duvet manufacturing facility in Blythe, Northumberland.
KEE have utilised their experience in the paper trim extraction and pneumatic conveying industries to develop a new extraction system specifically designed to extract, convey and bale continuous and non-continuous textile materials.
The KEE textile extraction system incorporates a revolutionary design air / textile separator and low cost / high efficiency precision trim cutters.
KEE were asked to design a system to provide effective extraction from 2 x duvet manufacturing lines.
Spare capacity for several pillow lines was also to be included inline with Slumberlands Ltd’s future expansion plans.
KEE provided purpose designed extraction hoods, trim cutters, a centralised / balanced ductwork system, air / textile separator (with integral filters and reverse flow cleaning) and main extraction.
A purpose designed PLC based electrical control panel was also supplied.
Upon completion, the system was balanced and commissioned.
As with all KEE extraction systems, the system was supplied with a twelve month guarantee
