Saica recently selected KEE Environmental Ltd to design and install modifications to their existing waste extraction system at their Newport factory.

Having worked on the Newport site in the past, KEE were their preferred supplier to provide the system.

The new system was to provide continuous 24 hour waste extraction to two a new converting machine within the main factory area.

KEE installed a new collection hood and conveying ductwork main to transport the waste back to the existing waste separator on the other side of the factory.

A new KEE chopping fan was installed to provide the motive power for the system.

The installation was planned to fit in with the factory production schedule and completed over three days.

Upon completion, the system was commissioned and operator training was given.

As with all KEE waste extraction plants, the system was supplied with a twelve month guarantee.
