Assist Corrugated

Assist Corrugated Ltd recently selected KEE Environmental Ltd to design and install a new waste extraction system to serve their new Andover factory.

Providing a confidential trade print and die cut service to UK industry, they have invested in a brand new Cuir inline flexo printer die-cutter machine requiring automated waste trim extraction.

Having worked closely with Assist Corrugated’s directors Trevor Green and Paul Neave in the past, KEE were asked to provide a new automated waste extraction system and to become supply partners.

The new system was to provide continuous 24 hour waste extraction from the Cuir machine.

A new purpose designed collection hopper was installed to collect the waste trim discharged from the machine waste conveyor.

KEE specified their Static Screen Waste Separator and Balance Fan arrangement as the means of separating the cardboard waste trim from the conveying air stream and delivering it to the compactor unit.

The installation was planned to fit in with the factory opening and commissioning schedule.

Upon completion, the system was commissioned and operator training was given.

As with all KEE waste extraction plants, the system was supplied with a twelve month guarantee.
