Nutrafeed Ltd

Nutrafeed Ltd recently tasked KEE Environmental Limited with designing a cost effective solution to control the extensive dust levels produced at their manufacturing site in Corby.

KEE designed a dust extraction to effectively capture the nuisance dust at source from several conveyor transfer points and a pressurised screw conveyor venting point.

To keep capital costs to a minimum, KEE included a reconditioned mechanical shake type dust filter, with explosion protection, as part of the solution.

New dust captured hoods were installed along with a new centralised ductwork system.

The plant was installed and commissioned over a 2 day period.

The new system has proved to be very successful in reducing factory dust levels.
