Parker Skip Hire Ltd recently contacted KEE to provide a solution to the major dust problems they were experiencing at their Norwich site.

They were experiencing problems with a Smulders 400/2 waste separation system they had purchased several years ago.

The Smulders unit was supplied with a dust control system which utilised cyclones as the dust collection / filtration unit.  Because of extensive dust carry over from the cyclones, the local authority had placed major restrictions on the use of the system.  These restrictions caused major operational issues for Parker Skip Hire and were responsible for extensive loss of revenue.

Having provided several state of the art installations serving Smulders equipment in the past, KEE were the only supplier considered to supply a new dust extraction system to exceed the requirements of the local authority and HSE.

KEE installed a new dust extraction system which included their ARJ 280 reverse jet dust filter unit.  The system has proved to be extremely successful and allows Parker’s to operate the Smulders waste separation system 24 hours a day if required.

The system was installed over a four day period.
