KEE Environmental Limited have recently installed a Standard Air Knife system for a new C&D waste recycling facility.

The facility, operated by D&E Roberts, chose Smulders Waste Technology to supply a new turnkey waste sorting and conveyor plant.

As a leading supplier of Air Knife and Waste Separation Systems, KEE Environmental Limited were asked to design an effective method of separating the ‘lights’ materials from the heavier hardcore materials..

KEE decided to select their Standard Air Knife System but, with one significant additions. Due to the nature of the product and change in direction of air flow, it was decided to incorporate the KEE Duct Wash System into the design.

The system was also incorporated into the Smulders system at the design stage.

The installation was completed over a three day period. As with all KEE installations, the system was supplied with a 12 months parts and labour guarantee.
